Our data is more than a digital reflection of our assets. Data is an asset in its own right and our purpose is to connect hearts and minds to data so we can use it to connect the country. To do this we need the best data ninjas to help us do it.

Our data team is also accountable for the portfolio management of digital roads and delivering digital to customers to improve their user experience and journey. Find out more about our approach to digital, data and technology.

Over the coming weeks we will be recruiting for several roles covering data governance, data management, data architecture and engineering, GIS, data science and digital innovation.

Our current team members on why they love working in their data roles:

We know that as a data professional, you probably have a lot of options right now – data is hot! So why come and work for us?

The work that you do will have a demonstrable impact on the lives of everyday people. No, you’ll probably not change the world in an earth-shaking way, but the work we’re doing has the potential to make millions of people’s daily lives a little bit easier, a little bit smoother, a little less stressful when they need to travel on the motorway. I think that’s worthwhile, not grand, but worthwhile. If you think that way too, you might find a great home here.

'I don’t have all the skills listed!' I hear you say. I want you to apply anyway. I am looking for people who are smart, curious, like problem solving, and have a bit of tenacity. If that sounds like you, please apply.
