Project management roles - Major Projects
Our Major Projects directorate are currently recruiting a number of project management roles across the full breadth of the work that we do, helping to deliver our projects with a focus on efficient, effective and safe delivery.
At National Highways we’re responsible for England’s motorways and major A roads - the backbone of businesses and communities up and down the country.
We have major plans to revolutionise the strategic road network with innovative design and smart technology through the £27.4 billion budget for investment in the Strategic Road Network between 2020 and 2025 to connect drivers and riders across major cities - it’s this big ambition that makes National Highways and Major Projects an exciting place to work.
Major Projects is a leading, intelligent, and commercially astute client organisation, responsible for the initiation and delivery of national and regional road infrastructure asset investments, that safely deliver important outcomes for our customer and stakeholders.
These roles are all about delivering change with real impact. Across a number of major programmes, we are shaping the future of England and its local economies. As we invest multiple billions of pounds, it's an extraordinary legacy that you can help to create.
Due to the breadth of our portfolios, we can offer a range of truly transformative roles for project professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds, at all stages of their careers.
We will always need a strategic road network - and that means we will always have excellent opportunities for you as a project professional.
If you are looking to start a career in project management, further develop your existing skillset or are an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting new challenge, and all of the above is of interest, we'd love to hear from you.
"Starting out as a graduate and now a Project Manager, I have been able to develop my career through the amazing opportunities that working in Major Projects provides. As well as being able to work on some impressive projects, it’s a team that really puts people at the core of what we do for wellbeing, development, culture and much more; making it a brilliant place to work."Emma Simpson, Project Manager.
