About the programme

Would you like to study a technical degree at University or perhaps you are a first-year undergraduate on a RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accredited Quantity Surveying degree course at University and would like to transfer onto a Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship, then this is an opportunity for you.

The Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship gives you a chance to earn money, work to gain experience whilst studying all without paying the fees. If you’re looking to get your career moving in a challenging, yet highly rewarding role, then our Chartered Quantity Surveying Degree Apprenticeship opportunity is right for you, offering an excellent insight into the Civil Engineering and Highways Infrastructure environments. You’ll also acquire all the skills and knowledge you need to achieve chartered status with the RICS as part of this Degree Apprenticeship Standard. You will also be studying part time for a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying degree qualification to supplement your on the job experience and learning.

 This role will start in September 2022.

About you

You must hold (or be predicted) a minimum of five GCSEs (including English and maths, at grade C/grade 4 or above); and

 
 - 112 UCAS points (grades A*A* or BBC in A Levels -excludes general studies) or
 - BTEC Extended Diploma – grades DMM in related field or
 - A grade of merit or above in a HNC, HND or Level 4 Apprenticeship in a construction or property related discipline

You'll evidence:

•the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
•the ability to work to timescales, prioritising where necessary
•the ability to give and receive information effectively
•the ability to write clearly and concisely
•your desire and passion to pursue a career at National Highways within Quantity Surveying and the Construction / Built Environment
